ACTE Webcast 43
"Registered Traveler Program"
Wednesday, July 21st 2004
ACTE offers you the chance to better understand the goals for the
recently rolled out Registered Traveler Pilot Program and learn
how the results will be used for implementing a nationwide registered
traveler program in this special live Webcast. The registered traveler
program was an immediate recommendation in the aftermath of 9/11
from ACTE members who were trying to reassure company travelers
that it was safe to fly while simultaneously preparing those same
travelers for intrusive, lengthy and inconsistent security procedures
at the nation's airports. This Webcast will also offer you the opportunity
to direct your questions to the Hon. Stewart Verdery about the expected
benefits, enrollment and the scope of a fully-implemented registered
traveler program.
Moderator:
Kate Farrell, Director, Global Programs, ACTE
Presenter:
Hon. Stewart Verdery, Assistant Secretary for Policy and
Planning, Border and Transportation Security, Department for Homeland
Security
